What exactly does the Ministry of Education do?We Answered:
The MOE here (I am from NZ) set all the curriculum and policies- helping to create all that damn paper-work teachers complain about. They also deal with teachers qualifications, do audits of schools to make sure schools are performing. - check their website http://www.edu.gov.on.ca/

Why our Education Ministry insists using English to teach Maths&Sc in the primary school? We Answered:
Actually do you know that it's easier to learn and understand math and science in English?I was Malay educated up to Form 5. Took my A-levels after that and Math and Sciences (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) was so much easier to understand.
Besides that, there are lots of information online and they are all in English. I don't find any reason not to teach Math and Science in English.
You will be surprised that malay kids nowadays speak english all the time and some even speak it at home. I have a few malay friends who speak english with their kids. So, do you think that they cant cope with the language? Kids are really smart, and they can learn really fast, if given the chance.
I dont think it's easier to command the basic knowledge of Math and Science using the mother tongue first because what you are learning are just translation of knowledge from English to Malay. And wait a minute, not every student's mother tongue is Malay. My mother tongue is Chinese, so... if you want to talk about mother tongue.. it will be another story and another question.

Should the Sudanese Ministry of Education face charges for disrupting children's education? We Answered:
You know what I'm sick of? How about radical muslims being so damn sensitive. What a bunch of girly girls. I'm a christian and could care less what others think of my religion. Get a life already.Todd Said:
How do I get special permission from the ministry of education to homeschool ?We Answered:
"ministry of education" doesn't sound American and I know it's not British. Are you in Canada? If so try this link http://www.flora.org/homeschool-ca/Clarence Said:
What does it mean when a school is accredited by Japan's Ministry of Education? We Answered:
Several Graduate schools were funded newly in the last 5 years. However, I doubt the quality of the MBA program which are held in English in Japan. And nobody knows Darthmouth's Tuck School of Business. In Japan, degree doesn't work that much. Language is more important if you work in the Japanese society. Japan is mono culture. 98% of the population is Japanese. People don't speak English.
I think you better finish in the U.S.
Or check Waseda or Keio Univ.

Can I take the Greek Ministry of Education to the European Court for not recognising a good British Degree? We Answered:
This sort of practice resonates in every other country in the world. When there is no shortage of manpower, the jobs are scarce and the locals get it over the immigrant. PhD's Masters degrees, Bachelors degrees, they all fall by the wayside and here we are, waiting at tables and being baristas at Starbucks, or providing "Jeez holy cow our cab driver is brilliant" conversations to the tourists. How would you go about with such a complaint? Im sure every degreed person who have immigrated to other countries would want you to write a book about it.
