How do I find the author of the Mandela biography I found in Yahoo Search, for permission to use some of it?We Answered:
You would write to the author, you would write to the publisher. Did you note the bibiliographal information about the work you want to adapt from?If so, you would send a request to that company's Permissions Department with the publication details of your planned work, a copy of the adaptation as you want to use it, and the source information from their work.
Good luck.

With its sweeping, inclusive view of American history, Created Equal emphasizes social history–including the lives and labors of women, immigrants, working people, and minorities in all regions of the country–while delivering the familiar chronology of political and economic history. By integrating the stories of a variety of groups and individuals into the historical narrative, Created Equal helps connect the nation’s past with the student’s present.Created Equal explores an expanding notion of equality and American identity—-one that encompasses the stories of diverse groups of people, territorial growth and expansion, the rise of the middle class, technological innovation and economic development, and engagement with other nations and peoples of the world.

I lost my tracking number!?We Answered:
If you used UPS or Fed Ex, they would probably go the extra mile for you and find the tracking number. They have lots of ways to do that. Unfortunately, USPS does not, their systems just aren't that sophisticated. Sorry to say, you are probably SOL on this one. It may turn up after awhile -it's not uncommon for it to take 8-12 to process a return but I can understand why it would be difficult for them to track down without a tracking number. Sorry.
