what are games that include agility and reaction time for physical education?

We Answered:

Lacrosse, or for a phys ed class stick ball. Check out STX for more info, but its a great, fast paced sport that requires agility and hand-eye coordination.

games for kids For physical education...10 points?

We Answered:

I am not an adolescent, but I do have a 10 year old, an 8 year old and a baby turning 1 this week.

My children like to ride their bikes-they will set up courses and race each other.

They like when I set up an obstacle course-it usuall includes running, climbing, crawling, sliding and sometimes swimming.

Depending on how many children are playing the game, baseball! My children love baseball (they play on a team each spring, but like to play in the off season as well).

Jump roping, hula hooping, seeing who can get the most basketball goals, tag (my children love flashlight tag, played at night), hide and seek.

How about field day style races/games? Three legged race, potato sack race, wheelbarrow race, spoon and egg race, dashes, relays...

Badminton is fun and can be played in a small area-you can get a set from Wal Mart or another store and it is very inexpensive. Dollar Tree usually has rackets for $1 if you need extras.

Skateboarding, Hop scotch...find things the children will enjoy. They can make up their own game, even!

Using the activities you find here you can alter them to your needs. Hope this helps.

Enjoy.

Leah Said:

What motivates you to actively participate in a physical education class?

We Answered:

It all depends on the student. I loved to participate in those classes because as a child my parents didn't let me participate in any sports.
You would have to make the activity more appealing to the students. Add an interesting twist to the activity so it's not just a normal sport. Grade them on their participation level everyday. Do they at least try or are they just going to dress up for class and stand on the sidelines?
