What can happen if rural India cannot keep abreast with Urban India in economic development? We Answered:
History is on the side of the urban dwellers. Rural populations decline as a country industrializes and those remaining use industrial technology to increase productivity, increase total food production, and replace the missing pool of workers.I believe the thrust of the article (I have not read it, I am just working from your synopsis) was probably about educational opportunities for rural areas rather than economic development. India is avoiding a long period of industrialization but pushing ahead with a digital-technological revolution. This puts a premium on education, and India must have the political will to educate EVERYONE in the country. That way, whether those children choose to stay in the rural area or move to the city, they will be equipped to succeed.

Modern India was/is built by Christians. Do you agree? We Answered:
You are giving too much credit to the Missionaries. It was the British govt(obviously not controlled by the missionaries), who contributed somewhat for the spread of education in India - but they do the same to create a British-loving Indian community who would help them to rule India. They had no indention to spread education among the masses, so large population were deprived of education. In turn, they looted India wealth, destroyed local trade & industry to make path for British products, & followed ANY path to secure their rule in India. In fact, Brits made India poorer. So I can't accept that today's India in built by the British.Secondly, Brits didn't saved India from Islamisation - actually they stopped intervening in religious matters after 1857 mutiny. Muslims ruled India for more than 700yrs - a time enough to convert Indians to Muslims. But they failed to do so - becoz of rich India culture.

Which Education will be preffered more to work in a NGO?PG in rural development? We Answered:
Why is it some answers always sound like fortune cookies?Your plan for PG in Rural Development is admirable, though not necessarily on track (you already have an advanced degree). An ideal situation would be to get hired into an organization, then let them subsidize additional graduate work. Even if it means starting at a lower level than you may wish, you would be gaining valuable experience and time-in-service within the organization.
One of the best ways to determine a course of study/internship/work experience best for a future position is to look at the position requirements of current positions in the target organization.
