If you're looking for something you can live off of, especially in NYC, probably not. You might be better off picking up at least a certificate or 2-year degree of some kind as soon as conditions permit. Then again, I do know of some people out there who have made it with nothing but a high school diploma and a huge amount of determination. It's still an uphill battle, and I wouldn't do it. I think you are on the right track, Many guys make the mistake of selecting online schools which are not accredited. BBB (Better Business Bureau) has already warned against these non accredited schools . According to BBB your diploma certificate will be "worthless piece of paper" if you get if from a non accredited online school.
