Almost all cities have adult education programs to finish high school. Some attend vocational school to get their GED. Some programs are offered at small community colleges. There may be some places that offer online. Just check and make sure they are ligit before mailing any money. Check with your department of Jobs and Family services there. They should be able to direct you. Go to the 21 Century Academy and ask there.

You may want to check with the department of education's website or do a google search in your area. But if you're in danger of not graduatiog, colleges usually hold your admission for another semester of year.

Talk to the principal, teachers and/or guidance counselors at his school. They know the situation and will give you another angle then what your 11th grader is saying - not that he is lying, they will just give an adult's perspective. If these are empty threats, droping out is a bad idea. You'll be teaching him that everytime there is a problem in life he should run from it.

yes do it, my cousin left in senior year and went to county college. he finished his 1st year and got a HS diploma and one year of college finished! if u hate school check it out, its not a GED its a real HS diploma. also Penn Foster in Fla has HS diplomas homestudy.
