Credit Recovery For High School Students

Terry Said:

My high school screwed me over, they moved me over to a new school 1 quarter before i graduated senior year?

We Answered:

Get your GED asap. The army or marines do not have preference on diplomas vs GED's, you simply need one or the other to join.

Future to be a Tax Preparer Am I correct?

We Answered:

is this for some volunteer tax preparer thing? i think i've seen these qs before. you should look in that book they give you if that's the case. i think you got 1 & 3 wrong, so you should look it up. i'm not sure the right answers.

Lydia Said:

Is there anything I can do to change my schools mind?

We Answered:

Change your school's mind? I don't know. But I do know, there's always someone/something bigger, or higher up. If you can't change the mind of your school, go directly to your Board of Education for your district. Appeal it as far as you can, until you either get the result you want, or you get shot down by the very top dog.

I had a similar situation my senior year, with having a lot of family issues, and unexpected personal problems, but thankfully I still passed. I hope you get to walk across the stage with the rest of your class. Good luck!

Where should teachers draw the line?

We Answered:

Have you spoken to your parents or guardian about this teacher? As a former teacher myself, I know that if a student is having trouble with a teacher, for whatever reason, your best bet to ensure your complaint is heard and taken seriously would be to get your parents/guardian involved. I know perhaps you may feel you are too old for this, but it seems to me, from what you've stated, that you could use someone in your corner to stick up for you.
Is there a guidance counselor at your school? Is he or she trustworthy? Maybe you could have a talk with the guidance counselor, unless of course, the guidance counselor at your school only deals with your class schedule and doesn't deal with personal issues.
Your best bet would be to have your parent/guardian have a chat with the principal of the school.
I would NOT advise confronting this teacher by yourself. He may simply brush off your accusations and treat you with even more disrespect (I don't know, as I have never met the man).
Get an adult to help you.
Good luck resolving this issue--and remember what you said, he doesn't only act out towards you, so perhaps try not to take it personally. If I was a teacher at your school and I knew another teacher was acting out in the manner you described, I would want the teacher reported. This is my opinion. Again, I suggest that you do not confront this teacher yourself (if you must, bring a friend with you). I suggest getting a parent/guardian to talk to the headmaster/principal of the school.

ANYONE WHO HAS SPARE TIME? i need help with summarizing an article if thats not a problem i need 5 sentences?

We Answered:

Sure I'll help you. :D

How about this:

Angela Dockum, a financial advisor asked the class of students how many of those who have jobs have surplus money at the end of the month. Not of the students raised their hand. Our country deals with recession and an economic depression these days due to deficit where everyone has to make the best of what they got and budget rather then enjoy the highest standard of living. In todays world, much of the citizens elderly, middle aged and even those who are still students notice the inflation and interest rates of just many common needs we need to live off of increasing. Youth ones who are still students have also realized that in this country filled with unemployment and national debt that we need to make every penny count. Looking on clearance to wearing hand me downs, students know not to waste money until our country in time notices recovery, a deflation in prices, and somewhat of a prosperity where most, if not all people are employed.

Hope I helped!
