well that area is open to allot of punks, skaters arnt always bad...im a skater...but anyway no need for peer pressure because that is how it all starts!
but it is also a good school and may have some of the smarter people that just couldn't afford a
really high achieving school. and you may find that you like alot of people there. good luck ????

I just looked this school up on Insideschools.orgIt did not get a good review!
The upside is that they said that the school seemed safe. The downside is that it sounds academically weak. (I notice that the school has a low graduation rate, for example.)
Of course, it might depend on you as a student. Individual kids might get more out of the school than most of the kids there, if they have enough determination to do so. It's hard to tell from the review, but that might be true.
If you are assigned to this school, go and see what you think. It might be better than it sounds. If not, at the end of this Fall, you can apply for a 10th grade transfer. (The transfers go out around the same time that 8th graders are applying to high school.)
