Yes, there are a couple of free options in Michigan. The first is Central Michigan Online School that is available for people who live in central Michigan. There is a link below.

Another option is Michigan Virtual High School. It is, I believe, available to students throughout the state. There is a link below as well.

your home district pays the cyber school and you get a laptop, books, webcam, headset, printer, scanner, etc.- free.
i think you have to be 21 or under though- since your public school district is paying for it.

I would check out the laws for your state at www.hslda.org .
Also, there are websites that can show you where to go for curricula online. I'll site some here. You can also look into finding a homeschool group near you that does unit studies; you can even make your own where you study things you are interested in and pull in your major areas of study...science, history, language arts, and math...all in one subject ( such as "Jets" or "Horses"). Lots of ways to go! This is where school gets fun and serious at the same time. Enjoy yourself!!
