my friend, notice that running away is not a good solution for your problem because it might several time so you should be much stronger and believe yourself. when you believe yourself, others will believe you, as well.

Most people who know me would be surprised by my answer but I say no-it is not important to attend your graduation. They are so so boring and unless you have some big part or are magnacum laude, you sit for a long time.
I am a mom of 2 boys (not high school age yet) and while i had to attend my HS grad ceremoney, I did not attend my college grad ceremony. I try to miss them where possible (w/ the nieces, nephews, cousins etc)

On that note, if it is important to your parents,indulge them and go. It is only one nite.
