Lisa Said:
I need books for high school- personal study? We Answered:
Look at the website of a nearby high school to see if they have a list of what books they use. Go to Amazon.com and search for the Title or ISBN and then see if you can buy the textbook used. There are many different publishers of textbooks, lots of options.Another way to find books is to search ebay, but buying off of Amazon.com used book sellers is usually the best option.
Google terms like: high school English textbook for each subject, and you will get names.
What math class a student takes varies. In 9th grade kids can be in (from least to most advanced) pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra 2 or Algebra 2/Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus.
Usually English is called something like 9th grade or 10th grade English.
Good luck!

What are some good teenage/high school books i can read based in Australia? We Answered:
"Tomorrow, When the War Began" by John Marsden and the rest of the series is brilliant. It has some semi-romance in it and is about a group of Australian teenagers. It's a good book. You could also try Looking for Alibrandi, which is pretty well-known.
Oh! Playing beattie bow is good but probably the wrong genre.
Happy reading :)

Where do I go to find home schooling books for high school? We Answered:
Check out Butch's Secular Curriculum list - http://intothesunrise.blogspot.com/2006/…Singapore Math has Math, Science and Language Arts texts.
You can try Oak Meadow, Calvert and K12.com if your looking for a 'boxed', all-one-supplier approach. Otherwise a couple of weeks spent looking at different supliers with your child might turn up some different currriculum that looks intereting to the both of you.

Anyone knows a good website to sell your high school books? We Answered:
I've always sold my college books on Half.com (http://www.half.com) or Amazon Marketplace (http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/d…If they're specifically home school books you might have a hard time selling them there though. I have old Bob Jones text books that aren't in the half.com or Amazon database.
In that case you might want to try Ebay (http://www.ebay.com). I've also heard good things about VegSource (http://www.vegsource.com/homeschool/) though I've never used it personally.
