Rita Said:

How to transfer to a High School in Canada from U.S?

We Answered:

You do not have to be a Canadian citizen to study in Canada, but then you'd have to get a student visa and pay school fees.

You'd also have to get your school reports ready and send to the high school in Canada for their assessment. You should do this as soon as possible because summer holidays are coming and school administration usually close for the summer. Give them a call before you send off your reports and find out the best way to exchange information with them.

If you're in your final senior years, be prepared to be very busy catching up because the Canadian and U.S. school syllabus are not the same in some areas.

You may consider putting off the move till you enter university there. Trying to make friends in the final senior years is always hard.

Either way, good luck :)

Sam Said:

Is it better to study in a public High School in Canada or?

We Answered:

Hi,
First of all, it depends where you want to continue your education.
In Kuwait you would need to speak Arabic to attend a government school.
There are private schools, though, where you can do your O- and A-levels, or your AB or High School Diploma, but in that case you can probably stay where you are.
You can do your High School Diploma in Canada and then find out where it is accepted.

Carol Said:

Can you go to a university in the U.S if you went to high school in Canada?

We Answered:

of course you can go. You might have to pay out of country tuition though.

Go to U of Michigan's website and look up tuition for out of country or out of state residents.

Is it possible to upgrade from grade 11 college math to university math: High School Canada?

We Answered:

That is entirely the function of your province and to some extent your school board. Ask your school counselor.

Darren Said:

Also schools are permitted to charge a foreigner school fees, if they choose to - in which case you have to pay if you wish to attend that school.
