Myrtle Said:

How can i earn high school credits online while I'm in highschool, so that i can graduate early?

We Answered:

It really depends on your school - do they accept online credits? Some schools will, while some will require that the course strictly match the one you would have in the classroom (same textbook, course material, projects, etc.) You might look into concurrent enrollment at your JC or community college - they often have a setup to where you can earn high school and college credits at the same time.

If your school will allow you to take online credits, they may have a preferred organization that you have to work with; otherwise, there are several universities that offer concurrent enrollment online or correspondence courses that you can take in high school. There are at least hundreds of them that do this - too numerous to list - but I would recommend looking at the colleges you're looking at applying to first, as that way you know that any classes you take may also transfer to your work there.

Another alternative would be to work out independent study options with some of the teachers at your high school. I did this, and it was a workable way to earn more credits at my own pace.
