A high school diploma takes 4 years to earn. Anyone promising you one in less than a few years is a scam artist. Your friend fell for a scam. He's not going to find a job with that, or he'll be fired/expelled if they find out - it's illegal to claim you have a diploma if you don't. If you want something fast, take the GED and hope you pass it. That can only be done in person, not online (those are also scams).

They are fully accredited and recognized and have been in business for over 100 years now. They are great and cheap. Don't go with the unaccredited school. If you want to get something like that you can award yourself your own diploma and print it out or have one made from a printer. It means the same thing as an unaccredited one anyway.

It depends what kind of schedule your school has.... for example in mine... we have a 4X4 which allows some people to graduate by the end of junior year

However... theres not really any benefit (that i can see)

I wouldn't take those. I doubt they would work. You could get some books to study for the GED and check with CA state dept. of Educations website as they administer the GED and will know where prep classes are that are in morning and evening to etter fit your life. Some churches and other places. may offer it infromally and have day care.

Stick with it!! Getting the GED opens up a ton of doors for employment options!
