If you are in High School, think about the kids that you knew that dropped out, what did they have in common? I do teach GED and have heard probably one hundred different reasons for leaving school. Poor family life, low expectations from their environment, drugs, alcohol etc. It is difficult to break this circle of failure and not everyone will be saved. Many school systems have tried alternative High Schools with some success. Believe it or not, more structure in the school and not less, works well.

Read questions and answers from Obama supporters and Democrats on this forum and the answer would appear to be yes. Their questions and answers destroy the claim that they possess a better education.

Obama supporters use the no child left behind act as their boggie man. They ignore the rise in Democrat mayors running the major cities with the biggest dropout rate increases (Detroit MI comes immediately to mind). Or how about the tax excuse when in fact, school systems are supported by state and local taxes, not federal taxes. The Washington DC school system has one of the highest per student funding in the United States and look at the dismal results that has achieved.

The ignorance on the part of Democrats and Obama supporters is incredible.
