It is probably a combination of poor parenting and the influence of the teachers' union, which is great in Buffalo, and the curriculum which doesn't focus on the 3 Rs enough. The schools' habit of passing students for social reasons probably doesn't help the issue either..

By fixing the overall compulsory public school system and its flaws, or abolishing it completely.

We Answered:

i know exactly why the dropout rate went up this year in my school system, because they gave us a very strict a dress code with some schools having to wear certain colors of pants and skirts that approach the knee and shirts must have collars, some are less strict than others but all caused a huge jump in dropouts in our school system.

Every single child is a reflection of the type of parent they have.

Everyone THINKS they are a good parent.

Unfortunately, 99% of them are incorrect.

Good parents will have a child on the honor roll, who is respectful, intelligent, well-adjusted, would never do drugs, will be something in life, et cetera.

I know most of you will disagree, but the bottom line is that if your kid is a f*ck up, there are only two people to blame, mom and dad.

edit: Now they are nitpicking about cities vs states, completely oblivious to the fact that the majority of population in these blue states is urban.
