How can i get ready for high school football? Schedule help from a coach would be great.?We Answered:
This my schedule. Our couch gave it to us.Monday and Thursday- Bench: 10 reps 5 sets. Incline Press: 10reps 4sets. Flies: 10reps 3sets. Dumbell Raises 10reps 5sets. Lateral Raises: 10reps 3sets. Tricep Pull Downs:12reps 3sets
Tuesday and Friday- Squat: 10reps 4sets. Leg Extension 10reps 3sets. Leg Curls 10reps 3 sets. Rows: 10reps 3sets. Bicep Curls 10reps 3sets. Reverse Curls:10reps 3sets.
Everyday but Sunday: Run 1.5 miles(2 on Saturday). Do pick ups(sometimes called accelarations)8 times 100 yards. Jump rope 15 minutes(every other day).
Then Plyometrics twice a week. Look this up. You can do all sorts of things for this.
First week, you will be sore but stick with it. Don't take days off, they set you back. A one week rest after about 12 weeks is good though. After the first month, you might actually see yourself lift less, but thats alright its good(it happend to most of my team). but after another two months you will actually start to see some serious gains. I remember in December i benched:105(Max) and Squat: 175(max). but now i'm up to 135 and 205. It works, it just takes serious dedication.

College or major high school practice schedules? We Answered:
I play at a smaller school, D3, but what we normally do is start at 4:30 in the afternoon and go until about 7:00. During practice, normally, we will have a pre-practice will is a warm up session for everyone, but mainly for the specialist like the kickers and punters and returners (15 min). After that we have a team stretch which consists of both static and dynamic stretching (10 min). The team will them split into O and D to do there install for the day, where we go over what we talked about in the pre-practice meeting in the field house (15 min). Since I am a WR the offense then splits into individual groups (i.e. WRs, RBs, QBs, and OL) where we work on skills special to our positions (15 min). Next is a special teams session of either punt or punt return (10 min). 7 on 7 is next withe the line off on their own working on pass blocking O v. D (25 min). Another special teams session follows 7 on 7; usually KO or KOR (10 min). Next are 1 on 1's and inside drill (15 min). 1on 1's are a WR going up against a DB running routes or blocking, and inside drill in everyone else working on the run game. The last special teams session follows this usually being PAT/field goal (10 min). Not every day must most of the time, especially early in the season we have 1 v. 1's next which is the starting O v. the starting D for 10 plays then the 2's for 5 plays then the 1's for 10 more plays (15 min). Lastly we have conditioning (10 min). Conditioning is usually early in the week and not late in the week so that we can save our legs.to be honest with you high school practice was not much different from college practice at all. I went to a large school in Alabama (Mountain Brook HS) who, for your reference, had Hoover in our region and played them every year. My senior year our offensive coordinator and QB coach was the offensive coordinator for Hoover the year before. He was the one who scheduled out our practices and the were just like how my college practices are now because he modeled his practice structure after college practice schedules. The only thing that was really different is the intensity of the practices. I college the coaches keep you motivated and keep everything at an extremely fast pace.

How can you predict a high school football schedule for next season? We Answered:
take all the area games you play, and swap the location. (ie, if it was home this year, it'll be away next year, vice versa)Take all the rivalry games you play, and swap the location
guess on the 2 games that're left.
