I don't think you need to keep you geometry notes. At least, I didn't keep my high school geometry notes. You don't need them for higher math courses like algebra 2 or calculus. Moreover, if you really want to remember you geometry stuff, notes will not be enough. The best way is to buy a geometry textbook or workbook with solutions and examples.

See if your town offers an Algebra I summer review. I did really bad in 8th grade math since my teacher wasn't that great of a teacher. So over the summer, I took the Algebra I review course and it really helped.
And perhaps you should try working on your study habits. It was your final and you didn't think it was that important to study? Ask your teacher for some extra worksheets you could do over the summer to stay sharp.
