I just graduated from high school last year, and most of my aunts/uncles gave me $20-$50. It really depends on the relationship you have with them. Also, gifts can be great ideas too-something they can use for college or an apartment...towels, hamper, a cute sheet set, a roll of quarters and laundry essentials...any of these can be good.

I think I'd just send an announcement saying that I had graduated and place a pic. in it. To say "Congradulate me!" Sounds like a hint for a gift to me.

I got $0 when I graduated and my younger sister got over $500. Without trying to be bitter, I think $40 is a good amount to give.

No, it is not necessary. The name card is just a cute reminder for you of who sent you the card (some people receive invitations to the same graduation)
