High School Invitations

Felicia Said:

My son is graduating high school in June 2008, how far in advance should I mail the invitations so the guests?

We Answered:

I would say 4 to 6 months. It seems like alot but it will give everyone time to get their schedules together.

Kathleen Said:

On my 5yr high school reunion invitation it says the attire should be business casual/formal?

We Answered:

I think they are trying to leave the clothing choice open. They do not want anyone to show up in flip flops and shorts, so they say "business casual" as a MINIMUM. I gather it means you can also go all out and go formal if you want.
That is how I read it.
If you are a woman, wear a close fitting sheath dress or upscale sundress and pumps or slingbacks. It is sexy and yet it isn't a "cocktail dress" where everyone would say, Oh, look at her....So, don't wear anything with glitter, sequins, or cleavage to the navel. And, if you wear something strappy, bring along a shrug to cover up with "just in case" others are less daring.
Have fun, and I hope all of your enemies have gotten fat

High School Sweethearts: How can we incorporate it into our wedding invitations?

We Answered:

I've seen some invites that look like schoolbook pages that have "mrs so&so" and "i love so&so" scribbled in the border. Sorry I don't have the link, but they looked cute.
Also, I always seem to associate love birds and high school sweethearts for some reason?
Or you could go for a prom or schoolyard wedding theme?
I'll be coming back to this question, as I hope to be marrying my high school sweetheart sometime :)
