In High school Musical, the colors for East High are red and white, and the girls wear a lot of airy sundresses and cheerleading uniforms, or tanks and skinny jeans. I'd say to try on something red and white, and wave your hair , then tie it back into a messy bun. Gabriella (Vannessa Hudgens) loves to wear jeweled clips into her hair, so it'd be great to go to H&M and get bobby pins that have little rhinestones on them. Also, the characters have glowing skin so try a tanning lotin too. Hope I helped! :)

Oh em' gee!! thats such a good idea!! i'll do that with my cousins!! well i've got some great game ideas and other ideas too.

1. Dance off! - Have an East High dance off. Play some of the high school musical songs (from the original movie or the sequal. you can buy the high school musical 2 songs on itunes starting august 14, 2007) and have your guests have a dance off or see who knows the most moves from the movie.

2. What's my line? - Have each guest say a line from either High School musical 1 or 2. Then have the other guests guess who said the line and which high school musical it was from. If it was from high school musical 1 for an example someone would say " troy bolten will not ruin my show" and someone else would have to guess sharpay and if they get it right its their turn.

3. If you have high school musical uno you could play that too.

4. make some high school musical trivia cards. and quiz your friends on who knows the most about high school musical. tally the point and keep a score board.

5. Make up dances to some of the songs if you get bored. i love choreographing dances and stuff and i did choreograph dances for some of the old hsm songs for me and my cousins and we performed them for my family. it was fun!!

6. Dance Dunk Off - Just like in the DC games get a partner and a little basketball hoop and a ball. play some music and dance to it and then play a little one on one b-ball. take turns.

7. Karaoke - get a karaoke machine and sing to some of the high school musical songs!

for food you can just serve like
-hamburgers
- hot dogs
- fries
- popcorn in little bags (for watching the movie)
- fruit bowl
- salad
- soda and water
- candy
- bake a cake and decorate it as an east high cake. put a big E on it and put w/e else you'd like on it
- other desserts (ice cream, brownies, cookies, ect.)


For decorations you can:

- sprinke red and silver tinsle on the ground
- roll out a red carpet
- tape up high school musical posters
- make gold stars with all your friends names on them (tape them to your friends chairs. make it like a movie thearter. but everyone can have a vip seat)
- make a high school musical banner
- get red and white balloons

For prizes:

-you can just burn or buy cds for the guests and give them to the person who wins a game or whatever
- or do something more simple like a poster or a t shirt with the high school musical characters (find them at limited too and target)
- also for giveaways you can have a raffle. make cute tickets and boxes and have your guests slip them in and have a drawing.
