The Wii game is based on the movie of the same title. It is a karaoke type singing game and comes with a mike.

To play the game, you sing the songs from the movie along with the music into the microphone that comes with the game. You are "scored" based on whether you hit the notes properly, at the proper pitch and timing.

All the songs from the movie are included along with a couple of additional songs from the Disney channel, such as from the show The Cheetah Girls. If your girls liked the movie "High School Musical" and enjoy singing, then they would probably like this game.

However, if they aren't particularly fond that that specific movie, then a better karaoke type game for them would be "Boogie". This game features well known pop songs from several eras, such as:
