Ughh!! My little sister made me sit through the whole movie. I'll just list you the main characters and tell you about them.

Troy- Troy is one of those jocks who is #1 on the popularity list. He and Gabriella start to go out and no one at the school likes it because Troy isn't paying attention in basketball.

Gabriella- Gabriella is the new kid in school. She is the brainy math girl. She is very shy but sweet to everyone. She and Troy go out and no one likes it because she is supposed to pay attention to school and win the smart-a-thon.

***I think that your sister might enjoy Troy and Gabriella as apposed to just one doll. This means that she can act out scenes and everything.***

Sharpay- Sharpay is the drama queen in the school. She can't have any competition in the school. And if she does she has to do what she has to do to make sure no one but her wins. Sharpay was popular but snotty so your kind of stuck in the middle.

Ryan- Ryan is Sharpay's brother. Together they are a good pair to buy you little sister. Ryan is like a sidekick and really is not as snotty and stuck up as his sister but can be devious at times.

***Make up a little quiz asking her if she likes Gabriella or Sharpay better but don't make it too obvious. Add some other questions in like, Did you like the movie? Why or why not? ***

Well, as far as music, just get the soundtracks to all 3 movies (I'm not sure if the 3rd has come out yet), and you're pretty much set for that.

The movie ticket idea for invitations is really good--you can also buy those big rolls of generic "Admit One" tickets at Wal-Mart, so you could use those to decorate a plain card or something like that.

You can buy High School Musical/Disney paraphanalia just about anywhere nowadays (at least it seems like it), party favors, plates, napkins, posters, etc.

And as far as food, I think that the typical junk food fare would work quite well (pizza, chips, cookies, and the like).

Oooh, another idea, you could have the kids dress in a theme...I think the 2nd movie is all about summer, so they could dress beach-y, or in the school colors--red, white, and gold (I really wish I didn't know this).

You can also get HSM Karaoke CDs, so I'm sure the kids would have all kinds of fun with that.
