OMG, she got published, and I read in a woman's magazine that she's already made close to two million dollars with her writing. She wrote her first novel about a girl who loses someone very close to her, and how the death changed her life and attitudes. The girl became withdrawn and sort of a bookworm. I read it and realized, the girl was her.

well during my last few years at school i suffered from depression and anxiety. Did my school offer one scrap of support ? did they hell. When i did manage to pluck up the courage to get to school all the teachers did was shout at me. They only cared about the schools reputation ( it's now an 'amazing academy' however you WON'T find me sending my child there many of my friends have said the same ).

I used to munch away on chewing gum to calm my nerves in class ( or where ever i felt 'trapped' ) and i remember one teacher literally screaming in my face that it was 'against the rules, and how dare i' .... DO I GIVE A S**T IF IT'S THE RULES OR NOT ?! grr i also hated the way they put on a show around inspectors always smiley smiley and nice.... lmao they were nasty buggers earlier.... ?

However i managed to 'block out' a lot of what they said and managed to get all my work done which i was so proud of :) i didn't even get one 'well done' from any of the staff, even though they KNEW what i was going through and often saw me in an emotional wreck. Most of the popular kids got awards at the end of the year but they didn't achieve as much as i did.
My best friends dad died at the time to and my Friend really wasn't coping- yet the school we went to were as nasty as hell to her and apparently she 'was letting the school down'.... Award winning academy i think not....

Grrr ookay im going to stop there it makes me so mad talking about that place ! :'(
But since i left last year my life has been FANTASTIC.... ugh seriously i now go to college studying to be a nurse/midwife. I couldn't be happier, i really couldn't. One day i will be someone ( i already am into modeling ) and i'm going to laugh in their faces :D

You'll be able to get into some colleges, but you can take the SATs as many times as you want with the new score choice feature. You don't have to send these scores to colleges if you don't want to. If you take them again and do much better, you only have to send in your second set of scores. By the way, that score is not 1236. You don't add the grammar and essay. its just 410 + 410 + 370. which is 1190,

Donate money? Why is it everyone thinks throwing money at a problem will make it all better? And just where is this 12 billion dollar campaign by the tobacco companies that's suppose to target school kids? Are they handing out free samples? Maybe putting up advertising in the hall way?

People will do things or they won't. Most kids have a herd mentality. By that I mean if most kids don't smoke then few others will start who are around them. Kids are more likely to start smoking if they hang around other kids who do.

Absolutely. YFU and AFS are the top programs in the word (Rotary is also good) and they both have exchanges to Sweden.

To be honest, Intrax/AYUSA didn't have the best reputation anyway.
