I would lower the price, if the student found a local business to advertise in the yearbook. It is all about working together to get the cost of the yearbook down and the support of the business community. Call the local president of the chamber of commerce and ask for his/her idea on helping your yearbook and your school out with sponsorships.

Find out who is the advisor/sponsor/teacher/whatever of the yearbook committee or club. Usually they will keep a few copies. Talk to this person and if they don't have anything, they may be able to tell you who would.
