The best are the eight top boarding schools in New England.

Next best are academically competitive high schools, for example, Bronx High School of Science and Stuyvesant High School in New York City, and Lowell High School in San Francisco.

In my personal experience, you focus on that sport and nothing else like football I use to not think about school work but only Football. Then I couldn't play because i had only a 1.76 GPA. Then that was my wake up call to get them up. I got to start because i raised it up to 2.74. Hope that helped =)

Yes, that is a very integral part of any foreign language curriculum.

How are high schools in America different then high schools in other countries?

We Answered:

I have a foreign exchange student who lives in Bremen, Germany and she says that in Germany their schools are for work. They don't have 'fun' classes like guy or art classes like in American schools. Their schools also go to grade 13 and the kids can either continue learning like at a place equivalent of a collage in America, or they can start working.
