I don't think you need much advice on this question. Simply go back to the school that you felt most comfortable at. If it's a matter of the classes being too easy, than simply enroll in AP or Honors.

From the looks this seems to be a top notch school. With the location in New York and activities and learning curriculum, it surely isn't cheap to attend the school. most private schools are indeed expensive. Call an make an appointment to see at that they have to offer, I'm sure that they will be happy to address the yearly costs, that are associated in enrolling and going to school there.

check if the prvt high-school you want to attend has ever earned any badges of merit in education from the federal or state govts. i know factually that such awards are given to top top achieving schools. my children went to one such school. i don't recall what the honoraries were called but i'm sure they have them. if awarded such a recognition, the private school gets a grant from either the federal govt and/or the state depending on where they are located.

if this the case with your desired high-school, i would then utilize that fact as a lever to convince your parents. i know, if money is no barrier, that i would enroll my child there if that is the case. i would think that any parent would too.
