Caroline Said:
can some one please make grammar corrections, look for comma splices, missing punctuation, and anything else?We Answered:
I made a few corrections to make it flow better. It was a little after ten in the morning when I arrived at Mr. Street’s office. Mr. Street is one of the Residence Hall Coordinators here at ABAC. When I (entered) his office he was sitting at his desk and in a deep concentration with his computer. “What are you looking at?” I asked. He turned the computer around to face me. He was looking at (an address on Google map, )an online map service and location finder. “Wow," I stated. "See if you can find my address."
“Sure,” he exclaimed, (and he started typing my address in as I gave it to him.) (We waited for the page to load.)
Born May 27, 1980 Mr. Street’s full name is Brandon Omar Street. He is a graduate of Georgia Southern with an associate’s degree in psychology. I found it very interesting that he lives in the same dorm with the students, which he is coordinating. Mr. Street is a man well over six feet tall that is dark as night, with a shiny black bald head (that has a slight glow to it if he tilts it just right in the light.) He has small glasses that remind me of the ones Benjamin Franklin wore. Because of his height and weight he could easily be mistaken for a football player.
Mr. Street and I knew each other before I had decided to conduct this interview. I first met him when my roommate decided to stop by his office to speak and I tagged along. We then became associates on a casual level. Before long, I (was) stopping by Mr. Street’s office to speak and talk about school.
As I took a seat in the chair in front of him, I started to realize for the first time that he had a very small office. (It held only) one desk, two chairs, and a filing cabinet. His wall was full from top to bottom of funny and inspiring quotes, (though the funny quotes seemed to outweigh the others). (While) Mr. Street was an intelligent man, he could also enjoy a good laugh.
(He asks my address again, and I laugh. Intelligent, yes, but directionally challenged.)
Hmm...I don't have enough time to finish the rest...tell me what you think and I'll finish when I get back! Everything in parenthesis is stuff that I changed.
