what are some high paying jobs for high school dropouts? We Answered:
Yeah at least get high school finished. Even with just a high school diploma you won't get very far unless you know the right people to get you into a good job or start dealing drugs. Even then, if something goes wrong you'll have nothing to drop back on and can be royally screwed. If you're really sick of high school, you can probably get a GED through a community college and then continue schooling through them for an associates degree. My one friend did this and ended up with an associate's degree one year earlier than she would have if she completed high school normally, not to mention she got a bunch of financial aid and was able to get two years of college out of the way pretty much for free. Just make sure you're serious about going to school because once you stop going it's hard to get back into it again and without AT LEAST a GED you're not looking at a fun future whatsoever.Renee Said:
What jobs/work place hires high school dropout? We Answered:
So long as you have your GED, you should be able to get most hourly-type, low-level jobs, if any are available in your area. That includes things like assembler, cashier, food prep. You could join the military. You may be able to become a secretary/administrator/receptionist, if you have the right skills. As a woman, you'd actually have more job options than your husband would - although if you're both working, it's possible that you get paid less than he does.If you don't have your GED, you will find getting any job to be very, very hard. Your best bet would be to try for low-level jobs with local companies, or menial labor jobs such as housekeeping at a small motel chain. The work would likely not be full-time, and you probably wouldn't have benefits.
It's quite likely that you couldn't afford daycare for your kids, so if your kids are under school age, it's probable that you're staying at home and caring for them, while your husband works 2+ jobs. That, or you work opposite shifts - he works 7-3, and you work nights, and you trade off childcare responsibilities.

Can I, a recent high school dropout, get a job at Barnes and Noble? Or any other suggestions for jobs?We Answered:
Have you even tried to get a job yet? You'll know better when you go fill out applications. Go to coffee houses, restaurants, grocery stores, and In-N-Out is actually a great place to work. They give benefits, which you'll need after your parents stop claiming you as a dependent, and the atmosphere is good.Keep your head up. Either the no school, working thing is right for you, or you'll enroll in adult school and finish up in the next year or so.
Try, try, try again.

what kind of jobs are there for high school dropouts? We Answered:
there are not much options to some with degrees non the less without high school education. But there is Mc Donald's', Wal Mart stock floor, cleaning up in diners etc. If you can get a GED adn work until you are able to finish it. Maybe you can then go to a training school for heating/cooling, medical assistant/technician, computer technician repair, theses kind of things but you need a GED or HS to get into training program.Adam Said:

Try construction or Wal-Mart. The military won't take you without a diploma; they only take a small number of people with GEDs.
