Where can i read about the murder trial of Joshua McLean? We Answered:
No luck. Searched the Internet a dozen different ways, including California's inmate database (which the state has shut down). Sorry!I've even searched the Sacramento Bee to see if they had anything in their archives. You might need to check there in person.

First day of as a freshman? We Answered:
Don't ask directions from any of the other students in the school. They will give you the 'wrong' directions for the fun of it. That is what they do to freshmen just for the fun of it so that you will be late to classes and get into trouble. Just don't be too trusting unless it is your friends and you will be fine.Have fun!

High School Help for an incoming freshman?!?We Answered:
1) classes are harder, people are more 'mature'.2) A bag, something to write with+on, some money, and if you have any books yet, put a few of the heavier ones in the bag, in case you get a locker, it'll save you carrying them all in together on the second or third day.
3) Be yourself, but tone down any dark makeup, or crazy hairstyles. Also, dress sensibly... don't want to get in any lectures about the schools appearance rules on the first day.
4) They're clearly more difficult. But you'll do fine, there's always a learning curve. If it starts to get too difficult, give it another week, if it's still too much, drop to a lower class.
5) if you like, but don't put too much thought into it, photos and the likes will accumulate there over time.
6) Be focused. Keep notes. make lists.
For languages, make a list of every word you don't know. also make lists of verbs, and conjugation rules. Learn the grammar first, then set aside time to learn off your vocabulary notes. This will really help. for other subjects, keep revising. Divide the course up into sections ( eg. For physics i have Formula, Experiments, definitions, and theory sections in my binder ) and revise them.
7) use ring binders, one for each class. In the first few days, organize them into what you need, add more sections as you need them, and keep all your notes for all four years in it. ( side note -if you keep really exhaustive/ neat notes, those binders will be worth money by the time you graduate - sold my physics binder for €50 the other day)
8) It's not that scary after the first few days. Be yourself. Make friends with people with whom you can relate,. Keep a change of shirt in your locker. wear sensible shoes and tie your laces! Make sure you're on good terms with At least one teacher in the school. be punctual. STUDY! in the end, you're in school to learn, so keep this at least in the top 3 of your priorities during your time in high school. and Finally Be nice to everyone( sounds easier than it is...IF you do this, everything else will fall into place for you ) not nice to the point of it being a fault, just polite, thoughtful, and pleasant.
9) It's not the highest achieving school in the area. If you're academic, don't settle for middle of the class, as it will make you complacent. The real world is far more competitive than this school, or most any school for that matter. Remember to always study. You're competing against the whole country in standardized tests... not just your classmates.

Laptop Requirement for Washington Area Schools? We Answered:
I've never heard of ANY public high school in the Washington, DC area requiring their students to purchase a laptop computer. Virtually every kid whose family can afford a computer has either their own or access to a shared family computer, but they're not brought to school. Instead, schools have computer labs and many classrooms have one or more computers, and those are used during the schoolday.By the way, there's no Lee High School in Arlington. The high schools in Arlington are Yorktown, Washington-Lee (maybe you mean this one?), Wakefield, and HB Woodlawn.

recommandation letter for friend how is it???? QUICK PLEASE?We Answered:
I only read it very quickly.. but the only thing i can see right off the bat is that you keep saying she was very this and that... it should be she is very organized and she is a good person. instead of evermore respect put the "upmost" respect. Instead of "knowing" her for nine years.. put that you have been "friends" with her for nine yearsand maybe try this... Ashley is very goal oriented and takes pride in doing her daily responsibilities with great care and precision. I recommend her completely.(and then do your closing thing)... sorry... I could go on.. but you said quickly.. you've got the right idea and the right points.. you just need to make your relationship and yourself sound more profession.. hope this helps.
