what are the best photography scholarships for high school students?

We Answered:

Also check out Columbia (in Chicago). I have a friend majoring in cinematography there. Call their financial aid office and ask them to send you their scholarships; most colleges have small ones that apply only to their schools.

And believe it or not, sometimes they can be substantial. This list will also include the requirements.

Is there any scholarships for high school students wanting to study abroad or go on an educational trip?

We Answered:

The only one I know of in the US (other than Rotary) is the Congress Bundestag Youth Exchange. It's a scholarship program that sends Americans to Germany. I went on it in high school, and it changed my life! The flight/program costs are free, but you still need spending money for when you're in the country (your host family only pays for food).

You're actually just in time for the next round of applications -- they're due at some point this winter. And you don't have to speak any German to apply or to go.
