Sydney High School

April Said:

I'm an international student. Do i need to pass tests in yr 11 public high school in Sydney?

We Answered:

If you plan on "graduating" from the Sydney, Australian school, then yes, you need to pass tests. It is your call. If you are referring to entrance exams, you shouldn't need to worry about them unless you are transferring and not able to show your transcripts from previous schools right away. Have your previous school and your current Sydney school get together to sort that out.

Timothy Said:

What is the best public high school in Sydney?

We Answered:

I would go any selective school. They get more funding then the average public school i reckon.

Roland Said:

A good high and primary school in Sydney?

We Answered:

Are you talking about a private school? There are also public schools near the beach but getting in will depend on where you end up living. Public Schools (particularly primary schools) are very good in Australia.

Private schools near the beach are between $15-20K per year per child in Sydney's Eastern suburbs, and most are single sex and religious. Many also have incredible waiting lists.

But some names (no order or preference) include: Private: Cranbrook, Kambala, Scots, Sceggs, Brigidine, Reddam House, St Vincents, Ascham, Waverley college.
Public: Rose Bay Secondary, Bondi Beach, Coogee, Maroubra, Bondi.

Good Luck!

How can I go to James Ruse Agricultural high school, In Sydney one day?

We Answered:

You gotta do the Selective Test and get 241/300 or more. People there are really brainy so be ready for the competitiveness and nerdy talk if you plan on going here :) Oh yeah, and lots of homework.

Just study really hard and do your best!
