Well, I don't live in Colorado, but the seasons are pretty much standard. Volleyball is in the fall starts around late August or early September and goes through early or mid-November. Softball is normally late April or early May through the end of the school year. [Just fyi, putting your school and where you live is not the wisest thing to do on the internet]. Good luck though!

Ok. Just because you weren't exposed to resources in your community does not give you an excuse for such low SAT scores. My school has NO honors or gifted classes, just the regular curriculum. I still went out and bought some SAT prep books, and still did alright. If you plan to go to IMSA, you need to be more self-reliant.

IMSA tries to get a diverse student body, and tries to get equal people from every part of the state. Obviously, more people apply from the Chicago area, so you have more to compete with.

Your stats are excellent. However, the SAT scores...
If the application process was based entirely on SAT scores, you would not get in. However, it's not! But....it IS a third of your application. Remember, there are going to be people applying with your stats and 700+ SAT scores. So, here is my final estimate:

Unless you have something extremely special about you, or you wrote FANTASTIC essays, you probably won't get in.
But with IMSA, who knows?

You can contact the school. There should be someone in the building at least one day a week. If not, try the school district office. Many schools have the opening date posted outside the school building. You parents will also probably be receiving in the mail a school calender which will have the date./
