How to learn French (best way)?We Answered:
Hi Fido,It is great that you want to learn French. If you have the motivation, you are already half-way there!
As other people mentioned, the best way to learn French would be to spend time in a French speaking country. If you have the possibility to do that, definitely go for it, you won't regret it. However, that's not possible for everyone...
The ultimate best alternative would be to get as close as being immersed in the French language as possible (like if you were in the french speaking country). As a French native speaker, I always tell people who are new to French or who already have some notions to go for a French Language Software. Some can be a real investment but some other can be decently priced.
I have created a Squidoo lens exactly about this (see the source below), and me know if it helped you!
Bon Courage!

What is the best way to learn French again? We Answered:
Watch some French movies or tv shows with subtitles. Soap operas and dramas are easier because they generally speak slower and more dramatically.Listening to French music can also help a little. Try http://www.nrj.fr
Go to http://www.livemocha.com
Free lessons are available at this site, and you can meet native speakers who would be willing to help you in your French. Practicing with these native French speakers help a LOT.
Good luck! :)

Whats the best way to learn french? We Answered:
I would suggest getting some cds that come with lesson books from the library so you can listen to a native speaker and learn the proper pronunciation while following the written exercises in the lesson book so you familiarize yourself with the grammar. You should also listen to french radio/music online so you become accustomed to hearing/understanding different people. This way, little by little you will understand more words and eventually complete sentences.Billie Said:

I would suggest doing a combination of things:1. If you can fit it into your schedule, take a class. Check to see if there is an Alliance Francaise in your city; they offer classes. Your community college will offer a first year French class; you can even take first year French classes at the local university or colleges that offer the four year degrees.
2. Have you considered listening to podcasts? I can recommend several, including Coffee Break French, Learn French By Podcast, French Survival phrases, One Thing In A French Day, and Katia and Kylie Mac Learn French. Podcasts, in general, have both free and paid content.
3. Use the Internet; the podcasts I have listed can be found online as well. There is a website called Live Mocha (www.livemocha.com). www.french.about.com gives great tips on learning French and a lot of games and exercises to help you. At the following site www.learner.org, you can find a 52 episode program called "French In Action" that will help you learn and understand French.
4. See what your local library has to offer when it comes to foreign languages. In the Nonfiction section, French can be found under the number 448. See what they have there, both in books and in videos. And don't stick to the adult books either, the children/young adult books can be really helpful to you as well.
5. Get a study partner; someone with whom you can speak French with.
6. Start writing in French; keep a journal; watch your favorite films dubbed in French if they have the French audio track, listen to music.

Best way to learn french at home?We Answered:
My friend learned from a rather expensive website (cost him nearly $100), but she could almost master it in a month and half.It also had a 60 day 100% money back guarantee, but since it had helped her she was happy with it and did not have to ask for a refund or something. In other words, one knows right within the money back period whether it works or not.
Hence I strongly recommend it.
If you feel interested to try it out then drop me an email (click the link below), and I shall let you know further.
