I would try some American children's tv shows for young children. Shows like Teletubbies, Blue's Clues and Sesame Street have children reporters that do small 2 minute or so spots. I know you are working with teenagers, but the language of these shows will be much easier for them to understand. You should be able to find examples of them on youtube or SurfTheChannel.
