Childrens learning games?

We Answered:

There are lots of games that will teach these concepts to children. Shoots and Ladders is a great game and an inexpensive way to teach number recognition and counting 1-100. Index cards which are also inexpensive can be use to create number and alphabet flashcards. Make a set of alphabet flashcards with both the upper and lowercase letters. Use them to play a matching game or a game of alphabet concentration. Buy a blow up beach ball and use a marker to write the alphabet or numbers all over the ball. Play a game of catch and have your child tell you what the letter or number his right or left hand lands on. This will also help teach right and left. A teacher supply store is a great place to find learning games to teach early childhood concepts. There are also lots and lots of Internet websites that offer free learning games for young children. Go to your search bar and type in free learning games for early childhood and see what pops up. Also, make use of driving time to teach your child to count to 100 or recite the alphabet. Below you will find just a few links to click on. There are hundreds on th web. Many are free; some you have to pay for. As a kindergarten teacher, I have used the web on many occasions to teach these concepts. Have fun helping your child learn.

Playstation one: Are learning cartridges available or games only? Explain please.?

We Answered:

The PS1 reads PS1 games and music CDs. And out of thousands of PS1 games I'm sure there are at least a few games young children would enjoy playing.

Please help....need help with ideas for learning game for kindergarten grade?

We Answered:

That sounds like a really good, simple, workable idea. Most existing board games can be adapted to become teaching games, if you apply a little thought to it.

Here's a site with some very simple teaching games based on 'real' board games: http://www.boardgamebeast.com/teaching-g…

Good luck. If the game turns out well, you should write something about it. It sounds like a really easy concept that most teachers could use.
