Pick a subject that you like, and join a forum that discusses it. The English that you'll learn will be conversational English, not proper English, but it will give you the practice that you need.

Mention in your posts, or in your signature, that you're trying to improve your English, and you would appreciate corrections or help. There is usually at least one person on any forum with very good English that will help you. They won't help unless you ask for it, usually.

Try to join a group that uses something like Ventrillo or Teamspeak. This will help you with pronunciation. Many on-line games use these types of programs, so if you enjoy gaming, join a server that is based in an English-speaking country.

Do a web-search for "free english lessons on-line". There are many sites that cover the basics, as well as simple grammar, that can help you.

Good luck! Learning a second language is hard. Based on your post, you have the basics down, and mostly need practice, and someone to correct you when you say the wrong word or use the wrong tense.

Well, I asked the same kind of question here before. I'm 40 and not an English native speaker but started learning it when I was 30. Now I want to start learning another language. We are not a teenager, not even in our 20's, but I think we should go for it if we REALLY want to do it. If we could find someone who speaks the language fluently, that would be the best, but even if we couldn't find one, nothing is going to stop us if we REALLY want to do it!

All you have to do is to be as creative with learning as you can, because English is everywhere on the internet!! You could just search for discussion forums of various artists you might like, listen to radio stations (BBC) online, read various newspapers (The Times, Guardian, etc.) online, use your instant messenger for chatting with people in English, etc. The possibilities are unlimited, just seize the day and make your language learning as fun as possible!

I am not sure of a website, where you can learn or improve spoken english; and I am a bit standoff-ish about chatrooms, but there is a great website out there, for translating small bits of written materials; www.freetranslation.com. I use it often, with great success! Bear in mind, it is not a perfect translaton, but will give you basic meaning, if you are lost. Your writing here shows that your written English is pretty good!
