Neil Said:

Is there a good course to learn excellent English vocabulary?

We Answered:

You might go to a nearby college or university and check around there. The registrar office will have a list of courses and you could ask about any course there.

How can I learn english vocabulary faster?

We Answered:

I admire you. The way I learned my vocabulary faster was by reading. When I read a lot, I became familiar with the words and was able to find out what they mean just by reading the sentence. If you want to get a better knowledge of vocabulary, buy the books for the SAT. Index cards are useful, but if you really want to be able to recognize what a word means, you need to learn to do so by reading. Start small, and then work up. Nice job! Here is an online dictionary to help you find the meanings of words you don't understand:

What is the best way to improve vocabulary(learning english)while I'm doing my job?

We Answered:

Read at lunch time. Reading good literature is the best way to build your vocabulary and understanding of the (American) English language. Doesn't matter what you read (could be the Twilight series for all it matters) but doesn't hurt to read the Classics (e.g. Catcher in the Rye, Of Mice and Men, Brave New World)

Also Google Translate is great in a pinch!

"what is the best way for a foreign student to learn English vocabulary, native English professors and teacher

We Answered:

Thank God for technology! Go to the library or bookstore and purchase yourself some videos (DVD/CD/TAPES). Also, there are plenty of books available to help you understand basic English. Additionally, there are many high schools who have 'community school's within (classes are usually held in the evening) whereby you can get help. Smaller classes and hands on instruction is always the best way, but you can carry your own little book and tapes as you go about your business and listen to words and phrases and sounds. Also, go to the movies!!! You will definitely get a variety of language sources - particulary where American culture is concerned. Keep in mind - every culture here in America has their own sub-clutures and within those are groups who have their own slangs, idioms, colloquialisms, etc. Good luck.
