have you tried www.pbs.org they have some really good stuff on there for 3 an up. my neice loves it. shes 4. good luck and best wishes. also those leap pads are good to help learn reading and all. i got my neice one when she was 2 for Christmas and she still loves it, and you can always get them the newer books for all different ages and stages of learning. they are really good because they are also interactive.

Antonio Said:

Any games for kids to learn "this that these those"?

We Answered:

I like to teach gestures for each of the words as follows.
This - Point one finger into my other hand.
These - Wiggle all of my fingers into the other hand.
That - Point with one finger towards something away from me.
Those - Point with all of my fingers on one hand wiggling towards something away from me.

Next, make up a simple song that you can do the gestures to. It's easy! You can make your own tune, or pick any traditional kids song.

For example (to the tune of Frere Jacques)
This. That.
This. That.
These. Those.
These. Those.
This and that.
This and that.
These and those.
These and those.

I want this. I want this.
I want that. I want that.
I want these. I want these.
I want those. I want those.

Sing and do the gestures together! (It works with any number of classic tunes)

Next, playing store is a great idea!

For some more resources, check out Unit 4 of Longman's Hip Hip Hooray Level 2. It's all about This, That, These, and Those. And, you are in luck! ALL of that unit (the textbook pages, the audio dialogs, the song, the teacher's notes, the poster, the picture cards, the activity cards, and the phonics lessons) are available as a FREE sample download here: http://hiphiphoorayonline.com/website/ab… The song (Tracks 63 and 64) is pretty catchy!
