Sounds good to me, as a native speaker.

I guess a way of getting more is to register on a language website (such as www.italki.com) and getting one or more exchange partners (you teach them your language, they teach you theirs) and study buddies who might want to share their knowledge and/or materials with you.

Rosetta stone is what we use in the Army. I learned Arabic from it before I went to Iraq for the second time. For civilians, it is quite expensive, but I do not know of any free language sites with audio and video. For a lot less cash though, there is a program that I just bought for 40 bucks, called instant immersion: 33 languages. From looking at it, it looks pretty decent. It is disc based, and each disc has a language.

If you are serious about learning Italian though, Rosetta stone is about the best language program out there.
