Learn Spanish Software

Carole Said:

I want to learn to speak fluent Spanish. What software do you recommend?

We Answered:

I was going to say rosetta stone. That's what I used to learn english. You should check your local library for it, they usually have it.

Carlos Said:

Does Anyone know where i can get a free learn Spanish software mailed to my house?

We Answered:

www.byki.com is an online course. You can either use it free of charge or download the premium version. It works on a basis of word lists (with increasing difficulty/complexity as you continue) and is available in many languages. It's a really good piece of software and you can download it directly from their site.

Zachary Said:

What is the best software to learn spanish fluently?

We Answered:

Beginner through advanced, well in that case I can suggest three of the top to you (in this order):

1. Rocket SPanish
2. Fluenz Spanish
3. Rosetta Stone Spanish

I included some links that will help you also.

*PS, I strongly suggest Rocket Spanish - it's the most affordable and the best in my honest opinion.

Rosetta Stone is very helpful, but it does take some time,

Some tips I have used for languages that work very well...

Get the lyrics for some songs, read them while listening to the song, and then get rid of the lyrics.
They have some good translated lyrics at this site:

Also try getting some podcasts that you can listen to during the day, while driving or exercising or buying groceries, immerse your brain into the language as much as you can.

these guys have some good podcast on itunes as well,

Where can I get free software to learn Spanish?

We Answered:

Hola, ¿qué tal?

You've made a good decision, Spanish is fun and not that difficult (like Chinese or French:-)

Of course you can google "free spanish course" or something like that, but it can take a lot of time before you find something useful - there are many bad quality courses. If you are a beginner, the best thing you can do is to get a free trial of a bigger reputable Spanish course.

There is tough competition between the biggest online course providers and therefore they are willing to release big parts of their programs for free to make you buy their course. They usually offer the beginner level for free and if you like it and get a bit advanced, you pay for the rest. Of course you don't need to buy the paid course - just use the free lessons and that's it. It is discussed here: http://www.beabu.com/free-spanish-online… - there are several links to courses and materials too, including audio, grammar, and games.

Among the biggest online Spanish course providers are:
Rocket Languages http://www.rocketlanguages.com/spanish/p… (aff)
Rosetta Stone http://www.rosettastone.co.uk/
Live Mocha: http://www.livemocha.com/learn-spanish
