Virgil Said:
What free internet source could I use to learn Turkish quickly? We Answered:
I have just started a site for beginners in learning Turkish, but if you are advanced in the grammar and want to study it through texts and listening the best sources I know are as follows:1. The texts I have gathered (if you mail me I will send them through email to you).
2. Books from FONO yayinlari.
3. Podcasts.
1. I gathered my texts during 10 years in my spare time from several libraries and internet. They are interesting and of different kinds (jokes, short stories, poems, fairy tales etc.). Under the texts there are the meanings of the words in English which save you a lot of time in looking up at the dictionary for them. The texts respond to all the grammar units in Turkish. There are visual aids added to most of them.
2.You can purchase books from FONO yayinlari from here:
http://www.dogukitabevi.com/asp/brands.a…
The stories in these books are so simple and interesting that you wouldn`t be able to stop reading.
3.Podcasts for downloading and listening:
http://www.mbirgin.com/?Ctrl=PodcastView…
There are interesting fairy tales, but you can chose to listen other programs from the main link:
http://www.mbirgin.com/?c=Podcast
For downloading more fairy tales you can register to download from this page:
http://www.egitimyuvasi.com/forum/Dosyal…
I will help you better if you write to me about your level in Turkish.
