There are two languages used in The ROC- Mandarin and Taiwanese (Minnan Hua)
In the PRC you will learnto write the simplified version of the Characters while the really nice Traditional Characters can be learnt here in the ROC.

I registered there about 1 months ago. And someone contacted me and offered me a free trial.

I feel good and have learned a lot though the free trial does not take long.

They have good after-class service. They offered me a lot Chinese learning materials and resources. Quite sweet.
And I plan to take formal Chinese learning classes on MasterChinese.

The MDBG Chinese-English online dictionary site is an excellent resource. Their link is below. If you click on "practice" on their menu, you can take character quizzes or do flashcard practice. You can study the characters they already have put into levels of difficulty, or you can cut and paste in the characters you want to study and they'll create a quiz for you. Hope that helps!
