Learning Games For Preschoolers

Benjamin Said:

Know any good websites for preschoolers?

We Answered:

My preschooler who's 4 loves http://www.starfall.com and http://preschool.lego.com/en-US/games/default.aspx. Starfall has a section where they can learn the letters of the alphabet or they can click on words in the books to hear the story. I love this site because it teaches him how to read from left to right. Legos has a preschool section with something like 6 games to play. My son likes to play the family helper game. http://funschool.kaboose.com/preschool/index.html also has a preschool section with lots of learning games and coloring pages.

Donald Said:

Are there any learning video games that could teach my high school son?

We Answered:

If he plays what he enjoys, he will learn more at a faster rate than being force fed a boring educational game. It's like riding a horse down a hill, the best was to get there is to loosen the reigns and trust the horse. I have been playing games since I was 11 and they have been the most significant enabler for me to reach the top of my profession. My advice, let him pick his own games and he will flourish.

Denise Said:

give some web address for preschooler edu games , learning etc?

We Answered:

www.pbskids.org I worked at a preschool for a few years and when it rained we had the kids play on the computer. Theres online pbs kids shows where you interact with the characters and you can get coloring pages printed out or just color them online. Its fun for the kids especially the preschool aged children like you had mentioned for.
