Your post did not mention a content area, so I can't help you much. :o( However, there are some websites that talk about how to develop lesson plans, and have some lesson plans that are already created. I will be listing a couple of these at the bottom.

It would also be worth checking out your state's standards to see if there are items that you can cover that relate to the material they are expected to learn in 4th grade (or you can review material from previous grades!) Many times there are sample lesson plans on the state's department of education website.

When I was in 4th Grade, I had a teacher who came up with a great idea to teach us about graphing. She had the students get up out of their desks and do some Math Aerobics! She would show us an aerobic exercise (such as jumping jacks), and the students would count the number of times they could do that exercise in one minute. Afterwards, we all made bar graphs of our results! It was a lot of fun!
