Martha Said:

Can I pay my student loans weekly?

We Answered:

Midnyte:

You can pay as frequently as you would like - the only thing the lender cares about is making sure that you pay at least the required minimum payment every month.

Nearly all lenders are set up to accept payments online via direct debit from your bank account - and not only that - most banks have a system that will allow you to pre-schedule automated payments with whatever frequency you request.

If you are absolutely convinced that this is the most effective way for you to manage your monthly loan obligation, I'm sure that you will be able to find a way to set up a weekly auto-debit for your loan. Your best bet is to start with your bank, and ask if there is any maximum frequency to an auto-pay arrangement.

Good luck!

I have a situation where my husband is being scammed by the same people who forced him into bankruptcy?

We Answered:

You must really love this guy to stay with him.

By all means, advise the police, but while they are investigating, don't let yourself be cleaned out.

Maybe you should open an account in just your name, and have everything deposited there. Close all the joint accounts, or at least advise them not to accept any more charges. It's your turn to handle the finances for awhile. Give him walking-around money, but ask him to account for it. Pay all the bills according to the family budget, and be alert for any transactions you did not authorize.

Good Luck!

How can my daughter get an good agent?

We Answered:

Where do you live? first question to ask lol

1) la or new york lucky ducks
2) other places you are kinda screwed but could go to local agencies and get tons of experience but not get famous really successful or rich would should be fine with you for now

are you referring to a modeling agent, theatrical agent or a commerical agent? all three? or are you planning to sign "all across the board" meaning when you sign the contract you will be covered by ONE agent for all three things and they will send her on auditions for all of these things. (modeling, theater, and acting for camera)

get pictures. headshots and a "zed" or "composite" card( same thing) if you want her to be a model, prof. photographer will know what your talking about. might cost a bit, but it should be under 1000, or it's kind of crazy. when you do your photo shoot, you should get a few different looks, or alot of looks, maybe even 7 or 8. looks mean pictures in a different outfit and hairstyle makeup..... depending on how much you are willing to pay that will be how many looks you get and the more variety of pics, for 8 looks it could be like 1000 to 1500 idk depending

go to the agencies

have her memorize a commerical and one or even better 2 monologues they can be short but make sure they arent phony. short is actually better sometimes because monologues that go on and on are usually not entertaining....

they love people who look natural don't have her wear makeup and they need personality number 1 thing

it doesn't really matter if iyour daughter is pretty, because sometimes the agencies have 300 pretty girls and they need to sign some ugly girls, they need to sign a few fat girls, a few tall girls, a few freckled girls, a few ethnic girls.....they need ALL types of talent but it is better for modeling obviously that she is pretty

make sure when you contact the agencies and meet them depending on how you meet them that is, that you have your resume and headshot ready. if their website says to send in your photo and resume to them via snail mail or whatever, you need to send a cover sheet. google this i don't wanna get into this

number one rule: you don't pay them
no no no
the only people you pay now, people who are photographing you so you can get a headshot and all those wonderful classes

to find the agencies research themmmmm alot

I have been cleaning up my credit report, I plan to buy a car in 3-4 months any tips to boost my credit score?

We Answered:

The easiest way to boost your credit score is to keep your inquiries to NONE until you buy your car. You are allowed 3 inquiries every 90 days, after that you lose 2 points for each one. When you do buy your cay, the finance manager at the dealership will go over your credit report with you, wait until then to check it again. Every extra point you can get and can keep by then will help. Also, say you are going to put $2-3k down at first, the finance manager will go over your options and a range of your APR%. After they tell you your options, ask if putting a total of $5k down instead will lower your rate. IT WILL. But if you play all your cards right away the dealership will take advantage and make a little extra money on you. If you would like some more tricks or tips email me, I'd be happy to help.
