Corbilled piers, start with a 600mm X 600mm base and gradually corbil in until you have 350X 350 at the top. Also try build a BBQ with fire box at rear and flue in the middle right hand side, Practise doing arches, hope this helps.

Talk about favorites, and things they like to do or are good at. I worked at one preschool where the teacher made a garden on the bulletin board. Every child had a flower stem, and the parents sent in petals on which they wrote good things the child had done. (The teacher cut these out and sent them home in plastic bags.) "Billy picked up his toys by himself" "Katie helped me with the baby" The parents were good about it, and gradually the kids had lots of petals on their flowers. Everytime a petal came in we read it to the class and clapped. You could put a picture of each child's face in the center of his flower.
