Stanley Said:

Does anyone have a good idea for a first grade math webquest that involves the concept of half and addition?

We Answered:

If you give someone a list of "to-do"s or questions to answer by using the web, does that mean that they will really learn the way of Enlightening, I mean the inner way? The more local people are, family friends, the more difficult it is to convince them that you have had an insight that will change your life.

Anyway... what I thought of at once was "why not send someone to look on the web to find the Fibonacci sequence?" (You know, half of the previous two is added each time... )

Of course, if you are into 'the classical' approach to knowledge, then you could always try looking up the Golden Section.

Just start at the start, go through until you get to the end, and then stop - don't go into something exponential, like the ultimate benefits of XML files, when suitably edited.
