Fluency Lesson Plans

James Said:

Teaching Fluency?

We Answered:

Model what a good speaker would do when reading a play. (Using an expressive voice with good volume, and reading in a steady pace) Give kids time to read their parts over and over, that's the whole point of fluency. To follow up you could have a comprehension sheet or have the kids tell you how to be a good performer.

Ideas for teaching advanced level Spanish?

We Answered:

Have your Spanish friends talk to him. Put him in those situations you're preparing him for, with unfamiliar faces and voices.
When learning Spanish, I've gotten the best practice out of just stumbling through conversations.

Need help with questions related to Teaching English One-to-One?

We Answered:

You need to review your course material and be creative in using games and lesson plans. Imagine yourself teaching too, it helps you being inspired and focused.

Being new into the teaching field, I can understand you might meet some difficulties to create lesson plans or imagine specific games. What you posted is a long assignment and nobody is going to do it in your place dear. But I know your British TEFL course and I can recommend a good tutorial with interesting ideas and examples to help you with your tasks and lesson plans:

Does this sound like a reasonable plan for learning the Russian language?

We Answered:

Sounds pretty reasonable to me, especially as you seem so keen on it.

With 20 courses a week, plus homework, plus speaking and hearing russian every day, I am sure you would be pretty fluent at the end of your gap year. And is a very beautiful language, I loooove listening to it, even though I can't understand a word !

Good luck !

Please translate these phrases from english - japanese please! Thank You!?

We Answered:

Before learning kanji, you should learn hiragana and katakana at least, you should move away from romaji as much as possible.
It is not very difficult, if you go at it, you should be able to memorize them very quickly. You can also purchase hiragana/katakana flash cards if you want.
