Free teaching materials?

We Answered:

There are so many great websites. These should get you started. websitesforteachers.com, learningpages.com, crayola.com, nationalgeographic.com (for kids)eslcafe.com, and believe it or not grandparentsmagazine.com offers lots of activities, song lyrics... Otherwise, wherever you go look for usable materials ie. pamphlets, used magazines/catalogues to cut pictures out of... Once you become a teacher, your house will become a "warehouse" of potential future teaching materials. Good Luck

Really, you can just type in "free lesson plans" in Google and find a lot of resources to choose from. You might also consider asking your colleagues for stuff they've used -- I got a TON of stuff this way, when I was a new teacher, and it was doubly helpful because it had already been used and proven.

Good luck!
